Mathematics Courses:
Junior School
All students study the Mathematics Syllabi for Stage 4 & 5 as set out by the Board of Studies.
Students are provided with Remedial and Extension Work as appropriate.
Senior School
Students can study General Mathematics, 2 Unit, Extension 1 in Year 11 and where possible Extension 2 in the HSC year.
Other Features:
Students of the College are encouraged to enter the Australian Mathematics competition.
Mathematical problems are provided on our College Moodle site every fortnight.
Students who like challenging problems are encouraged to enter the Mathematics Challenge.
Resources and forums are provided to students through their access to the College Moodle site.
A recommended site is the Khan Academy, a free site with thousands of videos and hundreds of practical exercises to allow every child to improve their mathematical skills. http://www.khanacademy.org/
